Biography

Dr. Nirvighna Kanjiya, O.D., is from a small town in Central Pennsylvania. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Michigan State University and her Doctorate of Optometry from University of Houston.

Dr. Kanjiya focuses her clinical practice on primary care, treatment of glaucoma, diagnosis of retinal conditions, diabetic eye exams, and contact lens fittings and management.

Dr. Kanjiya has traveled around the world including Ireland, England, Iceland, Peru, Indonesia, Portugal, Greece, United Arab Emirates, Croatia, Czech Republic, and various other destinations. She enjoys cooking, traveling, drawing, cultural activities, and spending time with her family. She is fluent in two Indian languages, Hindi and Gujarati, and she is learning Spanish. Her dream is to write and illustrate children’s books.​
