Dr. Jordan Ridgeway was born and raised here in New Bern. After practicing in Virginia for several years, Dr. Ridgeway returned to New Bern to join Coastal Eye Clinic in 2017. He is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and received clinical training in ocular disease and surgical co-management through the Birmingham VA Medical Center and Georgia Eye Partners of Atlanta.
Dr. Nirvighna Kanjiya, O.D., is from a small town in Central Pennsylvania. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Michigan State University and her Doctorate of Optometry from University of Houston. Dr. Kanjiya focuses her clinical practice on primary care, treatment of glaucoma, diagnosis of retinal conditions, diabetic eye exams, and contact lens fittings and management.
