Biography
Dr. William Clark is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon at Coastal Eye Clinic. He offers premium lens implants and astigmatism correction for cataract surgery in addition to glaucoma laser treatments and minimally invasive glaucoma surgical procedures.
Dr. Clark was born and raised in New Bern and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from East Carolina University, where he was elected to the national honor medical society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Clark completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at the Hamilton Eye Institute in Memphis, Tennessee, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Clark is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
