Cara D. Hamm, O.D.
Cara Hamm O.D. was born and raised in Hobbs, New Mexico. She attended Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina for her undergraduate degree. She graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry and completed a residency program in primary care and ocular disease at the Veterans Administration medical hospital in Salisbury, North Carolina. She became a Fellow of American Academy of Optometry in 2008.
Dr. Hamm focuses her clinical practice on primary care, treatment of glaucoma, diabetic eye exams, the fitting specialized contact lenses, including keratoconic, monovision, and multifocal lenses and low visions.
